A New Book from Rick Revelle

Art Show in Belleville

Thee is a great new show being set up at Gallery One Twenty One in Belleville.  Anne Ireland, who many of you know from “the county”.  Jeff Mann with his masks and Liz Schell who makes delightful planters and tables from pieces of recycled stage sets.

This show runs from June 23rd until August 1st

Artists Round Table

July 7th at Carolyn’s home…as usual… share coffee and talk about the business of being an artist. Carolyn will be in Artfest in City Park this coming damp week so we can look at that and other Summer shows and endeavours. We’ll get together in November on the 4th when I can breathe a bit. We’ll see some of you, however, next week October 14th for the Kingston Arts & Letters Club gathering at the Yacht Club….focus: the election and the arts…..

Hello everyone,
It’s getting cooler and it’s a good chance for us to catch up and have
some fun with Encaustics!
I’m planning workshop days for October, at last.
Saturday, Sunday or Monday (if you are retired you may like the week day),
October 4, 5, or 6.
From 10-4
All materials provided-hot wax, colours, boards, iron, stylus, colour blocks, sealed card.

Only 120.00 for the full day.
Please book your space early as I can only take 6 each day.
This ensures you have access to materials and space whenever you need them.
If you are flexible about which day, please let me know so I can make sure everyone
has a spot.

A Deadly Venture is Chris Laing’s second novel in this post-WWII mystery series featuring Max Dexter and his easy-on-the-eyes assistant, Isabel O’Brien.

Max’s artist friend, Roger Bruce, is arrested for murder. And while Max and Isabel are tracking down the real killer, Hamilton mobsters take steps to discourage them.
