Friends, Romans, countrymen/women, lend us your presence (to paraphrase the Bard just a smidge!) as we draw your attention to centre stage…
…at the Kingston Yacht Club for March 10th’s gathering with a Theatre twist.
Carolyn is away…so Michele is
left up to her own devices and will ‘act’ as MC. Come see what the Ides of March deliver.
The Play’s the Thing/Theme with a full house of dynamic theatre folk who will regale the members with highlights and tantalizing theatre tidbits for their upcoming seasons.
On stage will be Brett Christopher, Artistic Producer Theatre Kingston; Katie FlowerSmith Play Reading Committee Chair Domino Theatre with Frances Berry – Costumes (Carolyn is pea green with envy that she’ll miss that!). Tricia Baldwin, Director of the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts, Ashlie Corcoran, Artistic Director of The Thousand Islands Playhouse and Mike Shepard, Blue Canoe.
After standing ovations, thunderous applause (and money being thrown…ha!), encore announcements of your events and happenings will bring the curtain down for the evening.
We need to have a Standing Room Only audience to support our colleagues in arts. Our presenters go to a lot of trouble to prepare, and give up their time to come and share information with us. Members & Guests are welcomed PLEASE!

Shirley Gibson-Langille will be part of this celebration on Saturday February 14th from 1pm – 4pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 263 Victoria Street. I’ve always enjoyed Shirley’s work and this event should be a lovely way to spend a Wintery afternoon.
I would drop by but I am going to be busy on Saturday too….. and still have some room for one or two more….
